Trading & technology
We build our own technology, run algorithmic strategies at scale on the world's largest venue, while staying a small, tight-knit team — turning disciplined execution into real market depth.
Find out moreWhat we do
Koton is a top-tier market maker on Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange, quoting across roughly 90% of trading pairs on both spot and futures. Our core is high-frequency market making, where the speed and cost-efficiency of execution decide the outcome.
Around that core we run further strategies built on the same low-latency infrastructure. Binance is where our depth sits today, and we are actively expanding to other venues.

What makes us different
Proprietary capital
We answer to no outside investors, which means faster allocation, more flexible decisions, and room for opportunities with a stronger risk and reward profile.
Built in-house
Every model, strategy, and tool is ours, nothing copied or licensed, so the logic behind our trading is entirely our own.
Agility
A short path from idea to production. Fast iteration is a structural advantage, not just a habit.
Speed
Low-latency execution over infrastructure built to process enormous real-time data streams.
How we trade
- 01
Trading
Our traders own strategies end to end, from idea to live P&L. They run the market-making book, read the market in real time, and decide fast, with the room to act that comes from trading proprietary capital.
- 02
Quant and Research
Our quants turn terabytes of market data into the models and signals behind our trading, designing and testing strategies across horizons, from latency-sensitive to longer holds.
- 03
Engineering
Our engineers build the systems the whole firm trades on: low-latency execution, data pipelines, and the in-house tooling for configuration, monitoring, and live trading.
Technology
Everything we trade on, we build
We build software that trades real capital in live crypto markets. Every microsecond, every allocation and every design decision has a measurable impact on PnL. Engineering isn't supporting the business here, it is part of the business. When the system performs well, we make more money. When it doesn't, we lose. That creates a very different engineering environment from most software companies.
The stack spans C#, Python, and C++. We favour lean development and the shortest sensible path to production, so a capable engineer sees their work go live fast.
